Wood veneer is a thin layer of wood that’s sliced from a tree trunk or a large block of wood called a flitch. The slices are usually less than 3 mm thick and are attached to a panel to create a flat surface. Wood veneer is used for a variety of purposes, creates a finished wood look at a lower cost than solid wood, including furniture, cabinetry, doors, parquet floors, marquetry and more.
